In anticipation of a very successful night, we are calling on all business/groups in and around Tralee to join us for a night of great fun and celebration on Friday the 23rd of February 2024 at 7.30pm.
By the end of the Selection night, a Community Rose and Community Rose Escort will have been selected to represent the area for the year at any or all local events / launches / celebrations. They will hold the title for a year and go on to represent their community at the Kerry Rose Selection in May, and potentially at the International Festival in August, just like the 2023 Skellig Coast Community Rose Kelsey Lang McCarthy, and the Sneem Community Rose Escort David McCarthy did this year.
Local businesses or groups based in and around the Tralee area are encouraged to nominate and/or sponsor a Rose for €100 or an Escort for €50. A business can put forward their own Rose/Escort or your business/group can be paired with a Rose/Escort, it’s up to you. Do you know someone who wants to be a Rose?
If you know someone aged between 18 and 29 years of age and come from the Tralee area (and surrounding villages/townland) you can apply on-line at https://roseoftralee.ie/apply-communities/ . Get your Rose application in by February 9th as places are limited. The selected Tralee Community Rose on the night goes forward to represent the region at the Kerry Rose Selection on the 17th of May.
Do you know someone who wants to be an Escort?
If you know someone aged between 21 and 31 years of age and come from the Tralee area (and surrounding villages/townland) you can apply on-line at https://roseoftralee.ie/apply-communities/ . Get your Escort application in by February 9th as places are limited. The selected Tralee Community Rose Escort will go on to represent Tralee at the Kerry Rose Selection and will be guaranteed an interview for the famous Rose Escort Bootcamp for the International Festival.
Places are limited so submit your sons, daughters, in-laws, friends as a Rose or Escort by Friday, the 9th of February 2024.
MONSTER RAFFLE
The Rose of Tralee Monster Raffle tickets will be the main fundraising element for T.E.A.M. Project, with a grand prize of a brand-new car, a Kia Ceed GT Line. We ask everyone to do what you can to support T.E.A.M. Project and buy a ticket if someone approaches you with them. Tickets cost €20. If you are in position to sell tickets on behalf of the project, please contact Joanne in the number above. This is an important part of the fundraising for us, so any help would be gratefully received!!!
