Christmas “Give a Gift Campaign”

A huge Thank You to Clare, Orla and Deirdre and all from the Department of Culture, Communication and Sport for their fantastic Christmas Give a Gift Campaign. Because of their generosity and Christmas spirit we were able to deliver many gifts and care packages to our service users just in time for Christmas.

Delighted to have been chosen to receive these gifts which were all so warmly received by our service users. A great idea by Friends of the Elderly and a great chance to help others at what can be a very difficult time if people are feeling lonely and isolated.

Any excess gifts and packages were donated to Baile Mhuire Day Care Service for distribution to their service users.

Also a massive Thank You to Kristine and all the members of NEWKD’s Craft Circle who donated their own Handmade Christmas Cards as part of the event. Many thanks to everyone involved
