VERY BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful NEWKD Craft Circle facilitators and all talented crafters who took part in NEWKD Craft Circle first Craft Market on 29th Nov. Many of you helped, supported, and showed up on the day. Big thanks to colleagues, Craft Circle members, friends, family members and public that came to visit and showed support to us on the day. THANK YOU 🎄
It was amazing to see such a wide range of high-quality, beautifully made crafts—along with the variety of cultural crafts and foods that made the event even more special. And despite being a bit away from the town centre, we still had a fantastic turnout!
Most importantly, we met so many wonderful people and friends. We enjoyed plenty of teas and coffees, and we had the chance to connect with each other in the best way.
We also had two truly heartwarming moments:
✨ Claire from BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service attended to collect the handmade bee toys created for their young service users. These bees were lovingly sewn by Laima from the Tralee Craft Circle group.
✨ Majella and Breda from the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee Palliative Care Unit joined us to collect the first donation of 15 blankets. These were made by incredibly generous and talented crafters from the Tralee Craft Circle group, Fenit Craft Group, and Shanakill Tralee Craft Circle group.
Charity, generosity, and kindness are truly the superpowers of our crafting community—and we could not be prouder.
