This is an open call to all voluntary community groups to learn how to set up an SEC Group and avail of full funding to complete an Energy Master Plan (EMP). The EMP will allow communities to quantify their energy usage and engage with energy professionals to guide them through the process of developing a more sustainable and renewable energy future for their community.
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) is calling on voluntary community groups across Ireland to participate in the dedicated ‘Sustainable Energy Community’ (SEC) Network. The aim of the Network is to support and drive a national movement of SECs operating in every part of the country. This is a very practical first step to tackle the Climate Emergency.
